The client is an international supplier and product consolidation expert that imports goods from foreign manufacturers and distributes them to domestic retailers.

The Problem

Despite having Zoho One implemented and integrated, they were not leveraging the full power of the Zoho ecosystem. Their finance and inventory business processes were not as streamlined and efficient as they could be. Consolidating shipments is an integral part of the business, but this important process was being done manually by employees and many opportunities were being missed. There are a large number of details to consider when consolidating a wide range of shipments from several countries with varying regulations, from weight and volume to container type and country of origin. Doing all this by hand was wasting valuable time, money, and resources.

The Solution

Makse Group’s solution was to use Zoho Books automation with custom functions to create a “fire and forget” implementation that compares all relevant fields in all incoming invoices and automatically produces the most efficient consolidation of shipments. Now invoices, sales orders, estimates, and purchase orders all automatically update themselves based on all relevant factors and all other shipments with no input from employees and no additional training.
