The Client

The client is a US based industrial equipment supplier that specializes in manufacturing solutions.

The Problem

The company was successfully tracking and managing their extensive inventory through Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory, but they needed more in depth reporting capabilities to assess stock level changes over time. By tracking how quickly each product moves through inventory, the client would be able to place orders more efficiently and avoid over or under-ordering. However, they were not able to do this with their current Zoho implementation. Instead, they were using an ever-growing excel spreadsheet to manually track inventory turnover and place orders, wasting valuable time and money in the process.

The Solution

Makse Group was able to create a unique Zoho Books report that enables the client  to automatically track inventory turnover in real time. The report uses custom query tables and sql functions in Zoho Analytics to pull data from several different data tables, map the data, and run it through custom formulas to generate an inventory turnover report. 

The Results

Now, instead of wasting time manually maintaining an excel spreadsheet and wasting money on over or under-ordering machine parts, the client is able to quickly and easily track inventory turnover in real time through their custom-built Zoho Books report!
