Workday Worksheets Update

Workday continues to develop the Worksheets tool in limited release.  This is a powerful feature that allows Workday customers to collaborate directly in Workday.  Similar to other cloud-based spreadsheet tools, Worksheets allows multiple users to share, modify, and comment on a single spreadsheet helping to address version control issues.  It also adds the great benefit of linking live Workday data that is secured based on a user’s Workday permissions.

Workday announced several new enhancements that will be available in Workday 32, as Worksheets become available to all customers.  In addition to Advanced reports, users will be able to include Matrix & Composite reports as live data in Worksheet, and edit runtime prompt values after live data is connected within a sheet.  There will also be interface enhancements, including a Formula Editor that will provide a visual tool for editing complex formulas.

Worksheets is currently available free of charge for customers who submit a use case and join the Fast Follower program.
